This program includes 40 courses (39 compulsory and 1
electives chosen from a suggested list or any other) to graduate
as a credentialed Personal Historian.
Personal Historian PLCGS Crediential Program differs from the
Personal Historian 25-course Certificate Program because there
are 15 more credits earned allowing the student to earn the PLCGS
credentials, and the student has completed the full Methodology
program which is the foundation of all professionally credetialed
professional genealogical skills. Suggestion: Consider a writing
course for your elective such as Writing Your Family History
Book.

Program includes reading, videos, live meetings to meet with instructors (designated by course or monthly by program), written and personal interview assignments, and final exams in each course.
